Our Story

Nova Market & Café was born from a dream — and from the bond between a mother and daughter who share a love for food, people, and community.

I’m Ornit “Oreo” Aroni, and my mother Vered Aroni is the heart and inspiration behind everything we do. She has always taught me that food made with love brings people together, and her recipes and traditions live on through Varda’s Kitchen — our line of homemade salads and dishes inspired by her warmth and creativity.

For us, food has always meant more than just a meal — it’s connection, comfort, and care. It’s laughter around the table, conversations that linger, and the feeling of home no matter where you come from.

With Nova Market & Café, we wanted to create a space that feels like family — where every person who walks in is welcomed with genuine hospitality, fresh flavors, and a touch of Israeli soul.

From our family to yours — welcome to Nova. 🌟

Why Nova?
memorial Wall with decorative letters spelling 'NOVA' and framed pictures of murdered people from october 7th.

The name “Nova” holds a very special meaning for us. While it represents a star that shines brightly, it’s also deeply connected to the Nova Festival in Israel — a celebration of life, music, freedom, and togetherness.

In the wake of tragedy, the spirit of the Nova Festival became a symbol of resilience, unity, and love. We chose the name Nova to honor that spirit — the belief that even in the darkest moments, light and goodness can rise again.

At Nova Market & Café, we carry that message forward. Our space is built on warmth, community, and hope — a place where people come together to share food, laughter, and life. Every cup of coffee, every meal, and every smile is a reminder that joy, kindness, and connection will always shine through. ✨

We will dance again!
